For readers to check out around the web this week, remembering the Great War in different ways.
Military historian Norm Christie's
The Great War Tour, in honour of the centenary of the First World War, is a fantastic watch. See parts of the series on the TVO website, and the trailer
here. A great episode to start with is
Arthur Currie: Master of War.

Next, take a look at the incredible art on the page
The Great War Day by Day. Its illustrations of events during the conflicts are simple, informative, and moving. We've featured the title illustration for the project above, and below is the project's latest image depicting the end of the Battle of Mont Sorrel on June 13, 1916.

As you may have heard, June 13 marks 101 years since the end of the Battle of Mont Sorrel. We will have a longer post on the battle later in the week, but wanted to highlight
this fascinating read from the Canadian Centre for the Great War about soldier Clarence Booth.
Another watch, this one a tour in the vaults of the Canadian War Museum by Canada's History. The War Museum's exhibition is called "Deadly Skies - Air War, 1914-1918" and runs from June 10, 2016 to January 29, 2017.
Finally, a helpful
guide to researching your ancestral connections to the First World War. We love to hear and receive stories, and feature them on the site
here as well.
